  • Monitor operating parameters: Record key parameters such as discharge pressure, discharge temperature, and motor current to ensure they remain within their rated ranges; any abnormal fluctuations must be promptly investigated.
  • Abnormal Noise and Vibration Inspection: Listen for any unusual friction or knocking noises from the host, motor, and cooling fan during operation, and observe the overall vibration of the equipment.

Key Tasks for Routine Maintenance

  • Clean the cooling system: Use compressed air or a dedicated cleaning agent to clean the fins of the air-cooled condenser, or inspect the water quality and water pressure of the water-cooling system to ensure cooling efficiency and prevent high-temperature shutdowns.
  • Clean or replace the air filter element.: Remove the air filter element and use low-pressure compressed air to blow dust from the inside outward. If the filter element is damaged or severely clogged, it must be replaced immediately.
  • Inspect the transmission components.For belt-driven equipment, check the belt tension and condition of wear; for directly coupled equipment, verify that the coupling’s elastomer is in good condition.
  • Electrical system troubleshooting: Check whether the contactors and terminal blocks are loose or overheating, and clean out dust from the electrical control cabinet to ensure proper heat dissipation of the electrical components.

Deep Maintenance and Consumable Replacement

When the air compressor has reached its prescribed operating hours, a comprehensive overhaul must be performed, with all critical consumables replaced. The specific maintenance interval should be strictly in accordance with the equipment’s factory‑issued manual.

  • Verify safety accessories: Calibrate the safety valve, pressure sensor, and temperature sensor to ensure that, under extreme operating conditions such as overpressure or overheating, the equipment can reliably activate its protective mechanisms.

Precautions for Developing a Maintenance Plan

Scientific maintenance not only relies on standardized procedures but also requires flexible adjustments based on actual operating conditions.
