How to calculate the actual air output of an air compressor

8kg 15kw air compressor gas production, frequency/frequency conversion air compressor energy consumption comparison of the relevant background, the actual air compressor gas production calculation can be divided into theoretical estimation, working condition correction, measured three types of methods, as follows:

1. Quick estimation of experience

Industry general simple algorithm: actual gas production ≈ rated power of air compressor ÷ 6, 1kW power corresponds to 0. 16~0.17m³ /min gas production, for example, 15kw air compressor estimated gas production is about 2. 5m³/min, which is only used for preliminary prediction and has low accuracy.

2. Working condition correction calculation

Based on the rated gas production of the nameplate, superimpose environmental parameter correction:

Temperature correction: for every 5 ℃ increase in intake air temperature, the gas production decreases by 1% ~ 2%, which is corrected by formula Kt = 273.15/(273.15 + t), and t is the intake air temperature.
Altitude correction: calculated according to v = v x r/r in plateau area, r is the compression ratio, and the gas production decreases by about 3% for every 300 meters of altitude increase
Pressure correction: for every 1bar increase in exhaust pressure, the gas production will slightly decrease by about 2% ~ 3%

3. Standard measurement method

Gas tank filling test method according to ISO 1217:

Record the total volume V of the gas tank + connecting pipe (m³)
Close the external gas supply valve, raise the pressure in the tank from P to P₂, and record the time taken T (seconds)
Substituting the formula: actual gas production C = V (P-P) × 60/(T × Pa),Pa is the local atmospheric pressure (sea level takes 0. 1MPa), accurate actual free air output can be obtained.
