Furthermore, if a high-pressure gas pipeline ruptures or a fitting becomes detached, the resulting high‑velocity gas jet can generate substantial physical impact forces.

2. Electrical Safety Risks

Air compressors have relatively high power ratings, resulting in elevated current levels during startup and operation. Aging cables, damaged insulation, loose wiring terminals, or inadequate grounding can lead to electrical leakage, short circuits, or even electrical fires. In humid environments, the risk of electric shock increases significantly.

3. Noise and Vibration Hazards

Equipment operation and gas emissions generate high‑decibel aerodynamic and mechanical noise. Prolonged exposure to high‑noise environments can lead to hearing impairment in operators. Meanwhile, intense vibrations may cause pipe joints to loosen and induce structural fatigue in buildings.

The lubricating oil used in air compressors may atomize or carbonize at high temperatures, and in the presence of electrostatic or electrical sparks, it can easily ignite. Air receivers and pressure pipelines are classified as special equipment; if their safety accessories fail, they operate under overpressure, or their materials have defects, there is a serious risk of physical explosion.

Targeted Prevention and Control Measures

1. Strengthen safety protection for equipment and facilities

  • Improve protective devices:Ensure that all transmission components are fitted with securely mounted metal guards, and prohibit the equipment from operating in an exposed condition.

2. Standardize Electrical System Management

  • Line Inspection:Regularly test cable insulation and grounding resistance, promptly replace aged cables, and ensure the grounding system remains in good condition.
  • Environmental Control:Keep the inside of distribution cabinets and control boxes dry and clean to prevent dust and moisture from entering and causing short circuits.

  • Hazard Identification and Rectification:Establish a hazard register and implement closed-loop management for identified issues to ensure that corrective measures are fully implemented.
  • Emergency Drill:In response to potential incidents such as fires, electric shocks, and pressure vessel explosions, specific emergency response plans have been developed, and regular drills are conducted to enhance personnel’s ability to handle initial emergencies.
