  • Safety Requirements:Focus on the safety protection of air compressors during normal operation, maintenance, and shutdown.
  • Energy Efficiency and Performance:Monitor metrics such as displacement, energy consumption, and efficiency to provide an energy‑efficiency basis for equipment upgrades.
  • Pressure vessel components:Pressure-containing components, such as gas storage tanks, shall be managed and inspected in accordance with the relevant safety technical requirements.

It is recommended to establish an equipment ledger for air compressors, recording purchase date, operating hours, maintenance and servicing history, fault occurrences, and changes in energy consumption. For equipment that has reached its expected service life or exhibits abnormal operating conditions, safety inspections, energy‑efficiency assessments, and estimates of repair costs should be conducted. When pressure vessels such as air receivers are involved, the inspection results shall serve as a critical basis for determining whether to continue operation, implement corrective measures, or replace the equipment.

For equipment that exhibits significant aging, inadequate safety performance, excessive energy consumption, or unacceptably high repair costs, timely renovation or replacement strategies should be developed rather than simply waiting for a predetermined service life.
