The roof should provide excellent waterproofing and thermal insulation, and the sides should be fitted with louvers or vents to ensure adequate air circulation while preventing rainwater from entering.
2. Ensure adequate ventilation and heat dissipation
Air compressors generate substantial heat during operation. The shelter must be equipped with exhaust fans or ducted ventilation systems to vent hot air directly outdoors, preventing recirculation that could cause the unit to overheat. The air intake should be located in a shaded area and fitted with a dust‑proof screen.
3. Ensure adequate frost protection and warmth during the winter season.

Properly planning the installation location of air compressors is fundamental to ensuring stable production operations. Avoid outdoor, open-air placement whenever possible; if space constraints necessitate such a setup, be sure to implement all necessary protective measures and strictly adhere to the equipment’s maintenance and servicing schedule to extend its service life.
