  • Energy consumption performance:Refrigerant dryers primarily consume electrical energy for refrigeration, resulting in relatively low overall energy consumption; while desiccant dryers themselves have low power draw, their regeneration process consumes a portion of the finished compressed air, leading to some air‑volume losses.
  • Maintenance costs:The refrigerant dryer contains refrigeration components such as a compressor and a condenser, requiring regular maintenance of the refrigeration system; the desiccant dryer has a relatively simple structure but necessitates periodic replacement of the desiccant adsorbent material.
